There were quite a few entrants, but sadly, not all of them submitted in time. First prize was a Carrying case and an Eiryss model painted by the store owner. Second place was a battlegroup box and 10 paints. third prize was 10 paints. then they had a vote for player's choice and that entrant got a painted Alexis model.
See the models after the break:
Here are the entrants below, as well as the prizes: (all comments are for the picture above the comments)
This model came in second place. The photo doesn't do it justice, it had some great colour layering.
This is the model that won Player's Choice.
This of course was my entry, as has been seen many time on the site. I came in first place!
This was the third place entry, it had a lot of deep washing to bring out the colours.
And this was the Alexia model for Player's choice, Eiryss for first place behind her, and the case underneath them.
This was a great competition with a lot of really friendly guys. If my D&D game wasn't on Sundays (the same day as their Warmachine days), I'd probably be down there weekly playing.
Congratualtions to all the winners, and I hope to see you all again soon!
The 2nd and 3rd place models look really solid. The Players Choice model... I can't tell.
